Dinner is over. Guitars start playing as the campfire lightens up the darkness of the night. Long conversations recreate the incredible day gone by. Some in the group play cards while others listen to the ancient tales of local herdsmen; others yet improvise some folklore dancing around the fire. This is how our nights are..........This is how our riding vacations are.

We will ride the Aconcagua region. Here, stand the most massive and immense mountains in America, including its tallest peak, the Aconcagua (23 200 ft.). The mecca of mountaineering. Riding at heights over 11 000 ft., through small trails, past fairy tales valleys and colourful creeks… It is in these uninhabited places, which you can only reach on horseback, where huge herds of guanacos roam freely and the Andean condor nests. Only in unique places like this you can enjoy the privilege of watching them in plenitude.

This is also a place where history was written. In 1817, the Los Andes Army crossed through this exact same spot. After, they moved on to liberate Chile from the Spanish Conquistadors. We will have a glimpse of the titanic efforts our Fathers of Independence had to overcome.

As the sun sets, the spectacular stars of the southern hemisphere will cover the sky. Relax at the camp with its peaceful atmosphere. The campfire that lightens up the darkness as you share a cup of coffee, tea or mate. All this creates the ideal ambiance to feel the timeless spirit of nature and make new friends. On the seventh day we finalize the trip rafting the River Mendoza, the region’s best. Our long experience guarantee an unforgettable vacation.
Following next is a description of our itineraries for which there is no minimum group size. We can also arrange tailor-made rides during season depending on how long you wish to ride and your travel preferences. There is no minimum group size. Please ask for rates.

7-day itinerary:

Day 1:
Check in at hotel in Uspallata. Meet your guide. Preparation of saddlebags. Enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2:
Breakfast. Transfer to Estancia Uspallata. Meet the horses. Last minute packing before riding at heights over 11 000 ft., through small trails. Start of ride to first campsite.

Day 3 to 5:
Breakfast. Preparation for a riding day. On the hill tops we will have majestic views of the Aconcagua. Fairy tales valleys and colourful creeks. We will have the chance to see herds of guanacos and where the Andean condor nests. At night we will camp at selected spots.

Day 6:
Final day of riding. At sunset, we reach the base. Say farewell to your horses. Transfer to hotel in Uspallata.
At dinner we will enjoy a farewell typical Argentine barbecue.

Day 7:
Rafting on the River Mendoza, the region’s best. 5-7 miles on the rapids surrounded by awesome scenery.
The level of difficulty of this river is OK for everyone, thus combining adventure with safety. Transfer to Mendoza city
