We are located in a very remote part of the Rio Pico area that until very recently was totally virgin. You will be fishing and exploring the real Patagonia wilderness. We have private access to a portion of Rio Pico north of Lake 5 surrounded by 20 smaller lakes that are natural refuges for rainbow, brown, and brook trout.

Accommodations

We have 5 well constructed cabins available that can accommodate 6 anglers in each one. All come complete with private bath, hot water, heat, electricity, bedding, towels and daily maid service. The cabins are located at the foot of the mountains with lovely views of the lake. Some are separated enough from the others to provide privacy and all have outside tables and seats.

Club House

Built entirely from local wood the Club House is strategically located in the center of the complex providing a reception area, lounge and restaurant. The lounge is perfect for relaxing with a spectacular vista out over the lake. There is also an outside terrace with an equally attractive view.

In all of Patagonia you can find a grand variety of salmonides but they tend to be separated for obvious reasons such as food, climate and predators. Chubut offers a grand diversity of alternatives for the practice of fly fishing. We are specialists on where these species are best found in the most pristine, least fished circumstances. The places we offer have high concentrations of wild trout in their natural ambiances away from human populations and with little or no fishing pressure.

The province of Chubut has 5 major watersheds of rivers and lakes.
They incorporate one of the most incredible collections of opportunities for the practice of sport fishing on the planet from November to May.
The entire area is strictly controlled by the Direction of Fishing Continental. The river systems are Futaleufu, Chubut, Corcovado, Rio Pico and Senguer, all offering salmonides wild, natural, and disease free.

Itinerary

This fishing program has as objective practice fly fishing at Pico River in Chubut northwest area, that comprehend an area with more than 30 water mirrors and different rivers with excellent conditions to fly fishing. The program combines excellent and diverse fishing attractiveness for those fishers that want to enjoy the practice many hours each day.

Day 1/2 Fishing

Arrival to Esquel city in the afternoon, where we will be welcomed by 5 Lake and will be transfer to the cabins to leave their luggage and later we will make a fishing departure.

Trip to Wilimanco Lagoon where we will practice fishing in Belly Boats or Rafts with Arco Iris trout captures between 1 kilogram and 3 Kilograms, located at 8 Kilometers away from Esquel city in a private property, where once we finished fishing, we will be transfer to the Cabins and to dinner to a well known restaurant of the city.

Day 2

Once the dinner is over the fishers will have to say if they´re interested in fishing by Grande River area or the next day when we will make a complete tours of 20 Kilometers. Length with tracks and river estuaries as Corintos, Baguil, Blanco and Percy with innumerable tracks, wells and islands where you could ford this River that has unique places for the fly fishing practice with rainbow and Browne trout their sizes will be from 800 Gr. till 2Kgr with large fish quantity in just one fishing day, the guides will carry the food and beverages for a country lunch a good barbecue in La Paz camping or in some river island.

At the end of the day the fishers will return to the cabins to enjoy a shower and rest, later will be accompanied to the restaurant for dinner.

Day 3

The next day at 06:00 the fishers will be transfer to the Fishing outdoor complex adventures in 5 Lake where will be welcomed by the complex personnel with the necessary information of the area and will show the fishers the complex.

Later once the fishers will be accommodated till the lunch hour we will go to fish in the Lake located 50 meters away from the cabins to be well received with a delicious lunch in the restaurant, alter we will continue our fishing in the Lake till the lasts hours in the afternoon with captures that are among 1 Kilograms to 5 Kilograms.

Day 4

This day we will practice the fly fishing by Pico River; few meters away form the Complex. The Pico River, borns at a Mountain Range and dies in the Pacific Ocean. The privileged location of the Complex in front of the river allows the fishers enjoy the abundance of Brown and Rainbow trout besides the Pacific Salmon, this variety of fish populates many Chilean rivers, climb the mountain range obstacles in few places being Pico River one of the chosen places. Its weight varies among 8 and 11 kilogram. The Salmon represents without any doubt a great sport value exponent. Distance from the complex: 1 Kilometer.

Day 5

Fishing at Nilson, Pampas y Pico rivers confluence.
This is a privileged place for the fishing lovers.
To arrive to this place we will take an alternative and virgen path, exemplary Rainbow, Brown and Fontinalis Trout.
Transfer by horse or 4x4 vehicle.
Distance to the complex: 7 Km.

Day 6

Departure to Esquel city in the morning

In this tour the arrivals from Buenos Aires city to Esquel are on Fridays at 15:30
Departure to Buenos Aires from Esquel on Wednesday at 15:55 hs.
The more favorable fishing places will be recommended to the visitors according the climate changes. If the fishers have determined suggestions about the fishing places we will fix the schedule and places, the information should be provided 2 days before the tour start date.

The tour includes :
* Reception at the airport or Bus station in the fishing area. Transfer to the lodging.
* Breakfast, lunch, Snack, and dinner, during fishing activities.
* Alcoholic beverages normal.
* Professional guide service, permission in private fields.
* Lodging in fishing area, first level cabins.
* Transfer during the fishing tour, and to the closest airport from the fishing area.

The tour doesn´t include :

* Flight or bus tickets, from Buenos Aires to the fishing area, and from the fishing area to Buenos Aires.
* Lodging or meals before the fishing tour.
* Lodging or meals alter the end of the fishing tour.
* International or Local phone calls.
