Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires

The Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires was founded on September of 2001, in order to preserve, study and to spread the Latin American art, from remote times.

"Malba" is an institution without profit motives, private, that exposes the main works of modern and contemporary Latin American artists, the museum counts with different activities, like cultural and educative activities, as being cinema cycles, courses, shops, debates, guided visits, encounters with writers, infantile programs, and other activities that are made out in the Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires.

XUL SOLAR

The Museum of Solar Xul, has a permanent room exhibition for 86 works.
You will be able to find different objects, sculptures and objects created by the artist.

NACIONAL MUSEUM BELLAS ARTES

The National Museum Bellas Artes, presents a magnificent atmosphere, it is totally unique, it presents services like, audioguides in spanish and in English that are digital audio units with headphones connected so that the visitors will travel the whole museum following the indications of a sound band that guides the persons and it accompanies them according to an aesthetic chronological order. This service is 10 Argentinean pesos, for the spanish version is 15 Argentinean pesos. They also make special activities for blind people, and other activities.

National Historical Museum.

The National Historical Museum, has as main objective the knowledge and recreation of the history Chile, with the intention of remembering the traditions of the May Revolution and of Independence War.

It is a historical place, very pretty to visit, it indicated that the museum is installed in the place where the country was born, the National Historical Museum it is located at the back of the ravine where Pedro of Mendoza would have founded Buenos Aires.

Museum of Modern Art

The Museum of Modern Art is located strategically in the neighborhood of San Telmo, this is one of the most traditional neighborhood in Buenos Aires, located to two blocks of Puerto Madero and a block of the Plaza Dorrego.
Previously the museum was an architectonic deposit of tobacco.

MUSEUM OF THE NIÑOS ABASTOS

This museum is designed for children from 3 to 12 years of age old, its biggest purpose is showing them playing and learning who a city works, in other words experiencing the activities of the adults in the small city in the museum.
The children can also be learning next to their parents, or some relative who wish. In the Museum of The Niños Abastos they are carried out many activities, like educational programs, birthdays, exhibitions, drawing competitions, colored, ceramic and many other activities.
They also carry out the new learning techniques that help to the creativity of the children.

Museum of Hispano- American Art Isaac Fernández Blanco

The Museum of Hispano- American Art Isaac Fernández Blanco, presents a collection of Spanish paintings, Baroque furniture and religious decorations, it also presents a great collection of 117 old dolls.
In spite of all the unfolding that does not have much relation, this building to the Peruvian style, is really an oasis. The building is designed with a style neo - colony, in protest against the European style, prevailing of the architecture of the city.

Museum Palace San Martin

This museum represents one of the seats of the Ministry of Outer Relations and Cult of the Nation. This building is very valued by its increidible architectural value, and also because it presents a great work collection of recognized artists. It is open for all public, because its content is very entertained and enriching.
This work was designed by the architect Alexander Cristophersen in 1909.

THE FERRARI MUSEUM

The Ferrari Museum is organized in three big sections, the first section is dedicated to Don Enzo Ferrari and everything about his personal life, the second section is dedicated entirely to its great passion, Formula 1, the third section its about the sport history of Ferrari, through hundreds of photographies and other curiosities, like the history of the logo and others. This museum is a great opportunity to rebirth the history of life of a great man, but more than everything to live history on an innovator.
MUSEUM OF WEAPONS

The Museum that consists of 18 rooms, exhibits more than 2000 weapons and objects that make historical review, in addition it shows the evolution that the weapons had in the course of the history from the XII century until our days.

Egidio Feruglio Museum

Egidio Feruglio, palaeontology museum is one of the most active Non Governmental Organisation in the scientific and educative field. Its mission is to stimulate the cultural and social development. It is an impressive historic place and has many collections of animals’ fossils.

Activities
Inside the museum, you can go round with specialised guides who will explain you about the geological richness and the characteristics of each stand. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.
It has the following rooms: a distinguished researcher’s gallery, the ancient birds’ garden (Dinoshop) and the Feruglio café.

Museo del Libro

“Museo del Libro” is located in San Javier (Cordova’s Province) 13 Km. from Merlo city. It has more than 400 specimens belonging to XVI, XIX centuries. It is a cultural jewel by its impressive book collections.
It was opened on July 9 and declared municipal interest.
Activities
You can do a guided tour, it lasts approximately 40 minutes, and you will know the customs, anecdotes of each time. You can also see manuscripts, books, cloth books with sheep skins and more.

Octavio Pinto Museum

Octavio Pinto museum is considered cultural heritage. It has painting collections, drawings, and Octavio Pinto engravings. It also includes manuscripts, letters, books and personal documentations of the artist.

Alfredo Stelzner museum is an impressive natural collection. It has the most important mineral collections. It keeps minerals and rocks samples. It does researches concerning to Mineral Science and Geochemistry. It also organizes master level courses and academic dissertations.

Mendoza Modern Art Museum

It was opened in 1967. It was created with “Fondo Nacional de las Artes” donation. Its main aim is to make known the artistic genders of Mendoza's modern art. The museum has a great amount of sculpture, drawings, ceramics engravings and a library composed by five thousands of volumes.

Casa Histórica de la Independencia Museum

Casa Histórica de la Independencia museum is one of the most representative cultural symbols of Argentina. It has colonial style and reflects step by step the facts through the history.

- Viceroyship Room, where are showed colonial objects of XVIII and XIX centuries.
- Colonial Room, it reflects all the historical facts in Tucumán.
- Independence Wars and Congress of Tucumán Room, it has Independence objects as weapons, clothing, documents, portraits of the independence personalities of that epoch, and the Declaration of Independence act.
- History of the House Room. In this room the history of the House of Independence is narrated.

Fin del Mundo Museum

The museum is located in Ushuaia; it reflects the cultural and natural richness. The Organisation depends of Ministry of Culture. (in Tierra de Fuego). It is dedicated not only to promote the identification and research about the history; but also to make aware the historic and natural values. It preserves a great amount of photography, Archaeology, Palaeontology, Biology and Cartography collections.

The Pablo Ducrós Hicken Cine Museum is unique in Argentina and pioneer in Latino America. Its function is to research, preserve and disseminate the national movie patrimony since its beginnings

It is the museum of the artisans and hand craft of the city. Its mission is collect, document, preserve, investigate, exhibit and promote the popular art. The collections are representative of different handcraft specialties (silverwork, textiles, letter, glass, basketry, horns and bones, wood, etc.) in the traditional and contemporary variations.
The museum is located on Av. del Libertador, in Palermo, one of the most aristocratic neighborhoods of the city. The location is a petit-hotel with French and Italian details. Its two bodies are separated by an interior garden.
In this place Luis Angel Firpo a famous boxer in the 30’s trained under the supervision of Félix Bunge, boxing promoter and donor of this big house.

Arte Español Museum

It is an interesting coleccionism and Spanish art exponent in Argentina. It is placed in Enrique Larretas house (1873-1961). The interior is ambience with a historic criterion like a renascence palace surrounded by a Hispanic - Arabian garden really beautiful.
Its collection was formed in the early times of the XX century, and reunites mainly by poli-chromeplated wooden sculptures, altarpieces and paintings of the renascence and baroque periods, an exhibit that complements the furniture, weapons and decorative arts.

De Las Esculturas Museum

The Esculturas Museum Luis Perlotti mission is disseminating the interest by sculpture and Perlotti work, characterized by its American thematic.
The building occupied by the museum was once the house-workshop of the Argentinean artist, where he created almost the totality of its art work. Its particular collection has the original samples of its main projects. The temporary exhibits are open to recognized as well as talented sculptors.

The Casa Carlos Gardel Museum rescue, preserve, exhibit and communicates the work of Gardel.
The museum is located in the traditional Abasto neighborhood open its doors on March 4, 2003.
The remodeling project was under the supervision of the DGM technical team, that recover the house were Gardel and his mother lived and transform it into a place museum.
