Balneario La Florida

Balneario La Florida well known by the population as “La Florida” is situated in Rosario city, it is a concession area of the Municipal Costanera Rosario enterprise, located on a natural ravine foot; it runs along the north shore path and it was created to usufruct the Parana River shore, from Rosario-Victoria Bridge till Alem Park in Rosario city north area. It was build near 1940, is 4 Kilometers long and offers all the facilities to enjoy the sun and the beach.

To get to “Balneario La Florida” you have to travel by Costanera Norte Avenue, till Rosario-Victoria Bridge to have access by an area of Costa Alta, a public space on the shore recently recovered, it is a 6 blocks long pedestrian street, that starts at la Bajada Escauriza known as “Paseo Caminante” and also comprise a static 50 meters into the Paraná River dock, where is possible to find rental boats to travel towards the islands in the surrounding areas.
In the area you will also find a 30 people capacity panoramic elevator that not only allows going up and down, but also is used as privileged over looker to observe the city, the river and the islands.
