Tourist valleys in Argentina

Calamuchita Valley
The Valley is flanked by the Small Mountains to the east and the Mountains from Comechingones to the west, being its highest point the imposing Hill Champaquí, with 2.994 m.a.s.l.

Fishing and other nautical activities can be practiced in its seven reservoirs, among which those of Cerro Pelado, Rio III, Piedras Moras and Los Molinos stand out.

Punilla Valley
The Valley is limiting to the east with the Small Mountains and to the west with diverse ranges that alternate with plateaus or "pampas" from the big sierras.

Place where the Uritorco hills stand out, Los Gigantes, El Pajarillo and Pan de Azúcar. All this hills are apt for hiking and mountain climbing.

In the Valley of Punilla the Rally of the Republic of Argentina which congregates tourists from all over the world is carried out.

Constituting centers of great attractiveness for the practice of aquatic activities as sailing, wind-surfing and canoeing.

Particularly attractive are other natural formations, such as Los Terrones, formation of reddish gritty of the terciarium eroded by natural agents, in a place near Capilla del Monte; the Gulch and Mirador of Cuchi Corral, near to La Cumbre are privileged places for flying delta wings and paragliding.

· The San Jose chapels ( in Mallin XVIII c.), San Antonio (in Valle Hermoso, XVIII c.), Olaen (in the Pampa of the same name, XVIII c.), San Roque (in La Cumbre, XVIII c.), Dolores (XVIII c.).

· El Horno "El Argentino" in Bialet Masse (where the first national lime was produced for the construction of the first dam San Roque in the XIX century).

· The San Jeronimo dike (near from La Cumbre).

· The dike Los Alazanes (near to Capilla del Monte).

· The Mirador de Cuchi Corral.

· La Casona "El Paraiso" (in Cruz Chica, residence of the writer Manuel Mujica Lainez).

· The old Molino de Thea and Alto San Pedro (in Villa Giardino).
