In this city, the Constitution of 1853 was conceived and later modified in 1860, 1898, 1957 and 1994. Thanks to a tunnel of 2.397 meters, perforated below the bed of the great river Paraná, the city communicates with the capital.
The city has a modern coast and it preserves buildings from the colonial time. It is considered a city of Conventions.
It’s located on Salado River and Setubal lagoon shores. It’s 165 km away from Rosario, 340 km from Cordova, 475 km from Buenos Aires and 25 km from Parana

How to get to Santa Fe city
You can get to Santa Fe city by:
- RN 168 National Route, it links the capital with Parana city though Uranga-Sylvestre Tunnel.
- RN 19 National Route goes till Cordova city, going though important cities of Santa Fe province.
- RN 11 National Route connects the north east area of Santa Fe and the Chacho en Formosa provinces.
- Bus terminal for long and short distances.
- The train plays and important role and is dedicated mainly for goods transportation.

Located on Aristóbulo del Valle Avenue, the commercial center is considered the most important in the North area.
West Riverside path
It has a 4,3 kilometers length, trees, luxury houses and a large beach extension recently inaugurated.
East Riverside path
It is connected to the West Riverside shore by a pendant bridge; it has restaurants, discos, and a ecologic reservoir.
Sur Lake
Located in the Herat of Juan Manuel Belgrano Park, to the south of the city, Sur Lake is artificial it has a complete and complex mechanism that maintains the water clear and filtrated. It is a wide surface of fine sand, surrounded by vegetation; the place has a camping area and playground for kids.
