How to get to San Rafael

By land

To arrive to San Rafael by land from Mendoza city and Tunuyán (Mendoza) you have to drive by National routes No. 40 and No. 143
To get to San Rafael from Buenos Aires Province you have to take the National Route No. 7, subsequently en Junín (Prov. de Buenos Aires) take the No. 188 and drove about 900 km. towards Alvear, once in Mendoza territory just are 90 km. left by road No. 143 to arrive to San Rafael.

You can also arrive to San Rafael by bus from Buenos Aires city and other Argrentina Bus Terminals.

By air

There are three weekly flight frequencies from Jorge Newbery Aero Park. The flights arrive to Suboficial Ayudante S. Germano Airport.

The Diamante Lagoon is a natural paradise. It is situated 3300 meters above the sea level. Here, you will find abundant fishing. Also, it is possible to observe the imposing volcano Maipo whose image is incredible reflected in the green waters.
