Rawson city, Argentina

Provincial capital, the city of Rawson, bound to the first Welsh establishments. It possesses modern and old buildings with interesting structures, located on the Atlantic coast of the Argentinian Patagonia.

A few kilometers away, in the outlet of the river Chubut, the installation of the Port Rawson shows its important fishing trade movement and bordering to this is the spa Playa Unión which offers its wide beaches to residents and visitors.

Attractive tourist places

Playa Unión, small summer tourist town created in 1923, is located 6 kilometers from the city. It is characterized by extensive beaches of clean and fine sand. Ideal for long walks, surfing or practice sport fishing.

Farther north of Rawson, the Patagonian coast offers extensive and calm beaches, free of man's permanent action. It also offers the opportunity to watch the smallest dolphin in the world, the Toninas Overas.
