Pilcomayo River National Park
It is located in a subtropical area is characterized by an important diversity in
its flora and fauna.
It counts with around 47.000 hectares where tidelands, marshes and savannas of
white palm or caranday prevail. In this environment live two species of Yacaré
or South American caimans. Among the mammals the biggest cervids in South America
stand out, the deer of the swamps and the bear anthill.

Bañado La Estrella beautiful ecosystem that next to the Great Pantanal of the Brazil and
the Tidelands of the Iberá.
It is considered one of the three most important ecological
reservations of South America. Due to the floods of the Pilcomayo River an ecological
pocket unique in the world has been conformed.
A picturesque flora and a great colony of wild birds, give life to a fascinating
spectacle in this eco-turistic area.
