It is occupying a surface of 8.500 hectares, is the most southern Palmar in the
world. Its location in time goes back to the colonization before Christopher
Columbus, and the tips of arrows and stones of "boleadoras" found in the region
testify it.
This park has a recreational area with a camping site sector in the stream "Los
Loros" and a pedestrian path which lead to the ravine of the River Uruguay.
