It is called “the sleeping volcano of the Mapuches”. From San Martin - Los Andes, an active population of alpine architecture, round trips depart to navigate the lakes Lácar and Nonthué.
From Junín of Los Andes, you can participate on walks towards the lake Huechulafquen, a place of moody waters; and towards the lake Paimún which is located at the foot of the volcano Lanín.
