GUALEGUAYCHU
Gualeguaychu is located to the southeast of Entre Ríos in 1783 by Thomas de Rocamora, on Homónimo River´s shore. It is close to Buenos Aires and Santa Fé. It is very visited by tourist because of its wonderful green landscapes.
It is related with touristy zones; the town center of the city exhibits historical areas, constantly cultural demonstrations and intercity places.
The carnival is the tourist, social, cultural and economic phenomenon of the country, since provides economy; thousand of people are participants of this event.

- San José Cathedral
Located on San Martin square, architectonic jewel inaugurated in 1980.
Teatro Gualeguaychú
Located on Urquiza street was declared Historical Heritage in 1997 and inside there is cultural presentations.
- Archaeological Museum
It has two exhibitions rooms that preserve guaraní ceramic of colonial period, lithic objects as arrow tips, harpoons tips, needles made with fish bones, sticks and stone knifes.
- Andrade´s House
Colonial house, maintains its primitive framework, typical of the epoch. Nowadays, it is destined to cultural and artistic activities. It is located on Andrade corner and Borques.
- Agrícultural Regional Museum
The museum is inside Sociedad Rural de Gualeguaychú, its more important characteristic is the unusual wood porticos. The visitor will know machineries and tools from the beginning of XX century, all of them are related with the region agriculture. It is located on route 14 and Urquiza (to the west).
- Thermals of Gualeguaychú
Located only 2,5 Km. away from Belgrano and 3000 meters from the main square of Gualeguaychú, on 42 route, Gualeguaychú Thermals is the perfect place to eliminate stress and to renew energies. It has four swimming pools, covers 20 hectares with excellent services, and is very popular because of its benefit thermal springs.
- Beaches
Gualeguaychú characteristic is its fine sand beaches whose are very preferred because they are appropriated for resting. The most recommended beaches are:
- Balneario Camping el Ñandubaysal -
- Balneario Norte – municipal, has beach without slope.
- El Salto – is different because it is rural, has a wonderful waterfall.
- Puerta del Sol – offers pleasure to tourist, several attractions, restaurants and freshness places, vast clean sand and crystal clear waters.
- Puerto Boca – located in a city suburban, is very adequate for people who love calm waters and want to sunbath and enjoy the water. It is 12 Km away from Gualeguaychú.
